Ocean Alexander unveils two new yacht models to complete Puro series

26 March 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Fort Lauderdale-based shipyard Ocean Alexander has unveiled two new yacht models to complete its Puro series. The 30P and 40P models now join the line's existing 35P model, which was first unveiled in 2024. Both new additions are set to debut at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in October.

As with the 35-metre model, the 30- and 40- metre yachts have been developed in collaboration with Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta, alongside naval architect Andrea Agrusta of NavalHEAD. According to the yard, the series favours clean lines, "composed" spaces and an onboard experience designed to feel effortless.

“The completion of the Puro Series is a defining moment for Ocean Alexander,” said Johnny Chueh, president of the shipyard “From the beginning, the ambition was to create more than a single model. We wanted to build a family of yachts with a clear identity, one that speaks to owners around the world who value beauty, craftsmanship and true capability.”

While the 35P will remain core to the Puro series, the smaller, 30-metre model reflects the same approach in a more versatile and "approachable" format, the yard explained. On the other hand, the 40-metre model grows the original concept, while preserving the same design approach that defines the series.

“The Puro Series reflects a very deliberate vision,” explained Dan Mundy, Ocean Alexander's head of global operations. "Each yacht has its own personality, but all three share the same commitment to strong design, real comfort and a sense of ease that owners immediately understand. Completing the series with the 30P and 40P allows us to present that vision in its fullest form.”

Despite their similarities, the yard noted that each model is still "complete in its own right", offering three distinct expressions of the Puro line, defined by the same values of openness, livability and understated power.

“With Puro, the goal was to create a series of yachts that feel timeless, sculptural and beautifully balanced,” Cassetta explained. “Every line has intention, and every space is meant to feel natural and inviting. Seeing all three yachts together is especially meaningful because the design story now feels complete.”

Agrusta added: “Great naval architecture should quietly support the entire experience. With the Puro Series, our objective was to create a foundation that allows the design to feel effortless while delivering the performance, comfort and seaworthiness owners expect. Completing the trio means that balance has now been achieved across the full range.”

According to BOATPro, the shipyard currently has 26 yachts on order or under construction. Last year, BOAT stepped on board the second unit from its flagship 37L series, Tintin.
