New dates have been confirmed for the Palm Beach International Boat Show, which was postponed due to the global coronavirus outbreak.

The show will now take place from May 14-17, 2020 while the first edition of the Superyacht Show Palm Beach has been pushed back to March 25-28, 2021.

Announcing the new dates, event organiser Informa said it was “looking full steam ahead” and “eager to get back on board.”

“While we navigate these unchartered waters together, two things are clear - a healthy economy is everyone's business and sunnier days will return for all of us,” a statement said.

It added that the Palm Beach International Boat Show brings an estimated $682.7 million to Florida, creating 4,394 full time jobs in the process.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show was part of a raft of superyacht industry events forced to postpone or cancel due to the coronavirus outbreak.

These have included the World Superyacht Awards, the St Barths Bucket and the Superyacht Show. For more information on the industry events that have been affected, click here.
