Pershing launches hull 9 of their 115? series of superyachts

14 January 2011

Just launched, hull number 9 of the 35m Pershing 115 series is the fifth to have a Vericor TF50 gas turbine, capable of developing 5,100hp with central water-jet propulsion. Together with two diesel MTUs pushing 7,400hp the yacht can top 52 knots, yet remains relatively quiet and vibration free.

Considered the flagship of the Ferretti brand’s fleet, the Pershing 115 is popular for its styling, performance and the high degree of customisation offered to owners. It accommodates nine in an owner’s cabin and three guest cabins, plus five crew in three cabins. Guest areas include the saloon, a large cockpit with a dining table for 10, bar and built-in television and a sun deck with wraparound seating and sunloungers. Another feature is its fully integrated audio-visual and climate-control system with touch screen technology, and an onboard monitoring system.

The yacht sports a luminous pearly white hull, a distinctive feature of the new Pershing models.
