An 80 metre motor yacht concept named Project EvO has been revealed by Grant Maughan.
Designed for high-latitude sailing, the boat has a beam of 17 metres and comes complete with space for a range of tenders, generous fuel stores and aircraft on board.
Shared living areas are spread over three decks with ample room for entertaining indoor and out. The main deck opens forward to grant a continuous, sweeping platform from bow to stern.
Both the "glass house" on the third deck and crows' nest on the main mast provide unparalleled viewing. Elsewhere, there is an extensive beach club living area on the aft.
A commercial helicopter platform complete with a hangar and refuelling rounds out all avenues of adventure requirements.
Grant Maughan is an experienced superyacht captain who has voyaged to the far corners of the earth including the Arctic and Antarctic. His designs for Project EvO reflect the sentiments and experience gained on his journeys.
