The Turkish yard Proteksan-Turquoise has launched its second yacht in 2011. It splashed at the beginning of March when the hull NB49 hit the water.

Named Yogi, this 60.2m superyacht  has an exterior design by Jean Guy Verges similar to an expedition vessel. Built in steel and aluminium, Yogi offers vast outside areas with a large pool aft of the main deck. The pool has a glass bottom, with a view of the beach club below which has access outside on the bathing platform and also on a side balcony.

Jean Guy Verges is also responsible for the interior design and Yogi accommodates 12 guests in six staterooms. A master suite and a VIP stateroom are located on the main deck, while four further double cabins are on the lower deck.

On the technical side, Yogi is powered by twin Caterpillar 3512B engines of 1,911hp each giving a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

Yogi will be ready to start her charter season in Mediterranean this Summer through Burgess.
