Video: Inside Launch of Sanlorenzo 52 Steel Lady Lena

Italian yard Sanlorenzo has released new behind-the-scenes footage of the launch of its fourth 52 Steel hull.

Christened Lady Lena, the yacht hit the water for the first time last month (January 15, 2020) and is on track for a winter 2020 delivery. The hull was previously sold in 2018 by Daniil Slugevich from Boutique Yachts.

The new video shows behind-the-scenes action of the Lady Lena launch.

Key features of the 52 metre motor yacht include a 94 square metre beach club and a glass-bottomed swimming pool that allows natural light to flood the beach club below.

Lady Lena also boasts a 31 square metre gym with direct access to the main deck saloon, a flood garage for a tender of 7.5 metres and a separate garage for rescue boats and toys.

At 499GT, the 52 Steel has has a beam of 9.35 metres and is powered by a pair of CAT 3512 C engines for a maximum speed of 16.5 knots. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests and a crew of nine.

Lady Lena will be available for charter with IYC before the end of the year, making her one of the top new superyachts to charter in 2020.

Elsewhere, Sanlorenzo has another four units of the 52 Steel line under construction, with three sold and one available for a November 2021 delivery.
