Semi-custom 116' superyacht launched by Canados

Another Canados 116 was launched this weekend. This successful semi-custom 35m motor yacht is designed by the in-house designers with a contemporary interior by Salvagni Architetti.

Differing from her sisters, this Canados 116 has an independent dining area with the galley on the main deck in place of the owner suite. The master stateroom is instead located on the lower deck, as are the other guest cabins: a VIP and two twins. Powered by twin 2,400hp MTU engines, she has a top speed of 29 knots, a cruising speed of 25 knots and a range of 540 nautical miles.

Canados has kept active since the beginning of the financial crisis, and this major launch proves it. The Canados 116 will be delivered to her European owners for the coming season in the Mediterranean. The Italian yard also confirms a real success in Russia, as Agostino Ascani, President of Canados, comments: "In a few days a Canados 86 will be delivered to her Russian owner, while the brand new Canados 120 - designed for another Russian owner - is now under construction and will be delivered in May 2012."
