Italian yard Baglietto has laid the keel of the sixth 40 metre DOM 133 at its La Spezia facilities. Known as Project 10249, the yacht was sold in 2022 with delivery scheduled for 2024.
The all-aluminium line has been described as a “roaring success” by the yard. “Baglietto is living a very happy sales season,” said Fabio Ermetto, chief commercial officer of Baglietto.
Borrowing its name from the Latin word “domus”, meaning “home”, the DOM 133 was designed by Stefano Vafiadis. The model has a GT of 398, top speed of 17 knots and a beam of over eight metres.
Onboard highlights include a split-level beach club with infinity pool, adjoined by a shaded lounge area. Elsewhere, the yacht is home to an oversized upper deck aft and a sundeck with jacuzzi, sunpads, bar and coffee table area.
This particular unit will have a highly-customised layout that caters well to her owner’s wishes. Family-friendly living is ingrained into the design of the DOM 133 models, and the sixth unit will embrace this ethos with its open-air spaces and considerable interior volumes.
It comes after the first DOM 133, named Attitude, was delivered earlier this summer. She is currently enjoying her debut summer season in Palma.
