Turkish builder Soyaslan Marine has announced the launch of the first custom unit from its Dionysos 35 series, christened Lointaine.
The 35-metre new build has been conceived with a universally accessible layout, where all decks can be easily reached by wheelchair users, as well as by "people with different abilities and people with diverse mobility needs".
As such, a hallmark of her design is the inclusion of three lifts on board - an unusual feat for a yacht of this size. The primary two-square-metre lift services all four decks, from the lower deck to the sundeck, while a second lift connects the aft platform to the main deck. A third lift is designated for emergencies and links the main deck directly to the sundeck.
Other accessibility considerations onboard include the widening of all guest corridors and exterior walkways to a minimum of one metre, offering seamless movement throughout.
The yard collaborated with Turkish studio Calm Design Engineering on the exterior design, which features "ultra-modern" lines in steel and aluminium to create an "aggressive, ultra-modern" profile.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests in six cabins, with a further five cabins for 10 crew. An expansive 70-square-metre owner's deck is located on the bridge deck, furnished with a master lounge aft, his-and-hers bathrooms and a forward master bedroom with a dressing area.
A defining element, and another feature rarely seen on a yacht of this size, is the generously appointed master study on the main deck, flanked by a six-square-metre starboard balcony and positioned aft of large, forward-facing observation windows providing panoramic views.
"This long journey has successfully met the water following a flawless launch operation," said Can Soyaslan, ocean engineer, naval architect and managing director of Soyaslan Marine. "Our initial technical observations show that she is in complete alignment with our design parameters."
Powered by twin Cummins 449kWh engines, the yacht is expected to reach a maximum speed of 12.5 knots and a range of 3,450 nautical miles when cruising at 10 knots.
The model belongs to a larger range inspired by the Greek god of wine, festivity and pleasure, with the series' flagship planned to measure 40 metres.
