A 32-year-old British stewardess has been found dead on board the 47 metre yacht La Polonia.
Rebecca Boyle is reported to have been discovered dead in her cabin aboard La Polonia in the Italian port of Imperia after sustaining a fatal head injury.
Local media reported that Rebecca spent Tuesday night celebrating England’s World Cup win against Colombia.
It is believed she fell down a flight of stairs after drinking although no official ruling has yet been made on the cause of death. Police officers and medical crews attended the yacht on Wednesday morning and are understood to be investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
It is understood that Rebecca had only been working on the yacht for a week but is believed to have extensive experience in the industry.
