British shipyard Sunseeker has announced the launch of the first unit from its Manhattan 94 yacht series, formerly known as the 94 Yacht. The 28.6-metre new build hit the water at the yard's facilities in Poole, at a ceremony attended by Sunseeker's team of engineers, carpenters and electricians.
Following her launch, hull one from the series will undergo rigorous sea trials ahead of her global debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, where she will be the shipyard's largest yacht on display, alongside nine other Sunseeker builds including the Manhattan 56 and Manhattan 68.
According to the shipyard, the Manhattan 94 represents the latest evolution of Sunseeker’s design and engineering, combining "refined styling with exceptional performance and innovation".
Crafted as a “sanctuary at sea”, the model is characterised by a large penthouse-style saloon on the main deck, which benefits from extensive natural light via floor-to-ceiling glazing and starboard sliding doors. The space is fitted with an L-shaped sofa and cabinetry with integrated storage solutions, offering a welcoming retreat for friends and family. A formal dining area lies forward of the saloon, while a stylish feature wall divides the living space and crew area for both convenient access and privacy when desired.
Another highlight of her main deck is the full-beam owner’s suite, which sprawls across a spacious lobby and en-suite, and features panoramic glazing on both sides for added natural light. The lower deck houses four guest cabins accommodating up to 10 guests, each boasting double or twin beds, ample storage and en-suite facilities for flexibility and maximum comfort.
In terms of exterior decks, the yacht features a beach club and an expansive flybridge that flows seamlessly into her foredeck, where two separate seating areas and an oversized sunpad are fitted. Central to the Manhattan 94 is the raised pilothouse: a signature Sunseeker feature that is integrated into the yacht’s profile.
The build has a tender garage accommodating a Williams Sport Jet 395, with generous stowage for SeaBobs, paddleboards and diving gear. The X TEND sunbed system allows flexible seating facing aft in its lowered position, or forward at cockpit level with the touch of a button.
Powered by twin MTU diesel engines, the yacht is expected to reach speeds of up to 26 knots. Optional Humphree X-Series stabilisers and advanced navigation systems are offered to provide smooth and efficient cruising.
Exclusive data from BOATPro revealed Sunseeker to have 16 yachts currently under development. This includes the second unit from the Manhattan 94 series, of which the shipyard confirmed has already been sold. Last week, the shipyard confirmed its new long-term owners and shareholders, alongside announcing the appointment of Scott Millar as CEO.
