Italian superyacht builder Benetti has launched superyacht My Paradis, the first in its new Tradition Supreme 108' series.
My Paradis is the first of three 32.98 metre 108 Tradition Supremes that are underway. The Tradition Supreme 108 series is the successor to Benetti's popular Tradition 105 series. The tri-deck superyacht is part of Benetti's Class Range Displacement lineup, which includes composite yachts from 93' to 145'.
Exterior styling is by Stefano Righini, who has employed a design tactic of superstructure cut outs to give as much exposure as possible to large windows. The interiors are well lit by natural light, an effect which is enhanced by the interior styling choice of mixing light oak and dark woods to reflect light. In addition, the walls are covered in varying thicknesses of of wood, creating an interesting 3D effect and further creating a feeling a lightness.
Superyacht My Paradis has a customised main deck layout with an integrated main saloon and dining area, including a lounge and bar. Also unusually for a yacht this size, the crew mess is located on the main deck instead of the lower deck per the owner's request. My Paradis accommodates 12 guests with four VIP cabins on the lower deck and the full beam owner's stateroom on the main deck.
A focal point of the yacht is her sun deck, which has a carbon fibre roll bar. The sun deck can be accessed from inside or outside, and the space includes a dining table for 10 guests set in the centre, a Jacuzzi, and a lounge seating area.
Notably, My Paradis features hybrid propulsion. She offers the option of using the traditional twin 735kW MAN V8 1000 turbo-charged main engines or two 35kW electric motors – powered by generators – that connect to regulators in the main engines for diesel-electric propulsion. The electric motors provide efficient performance with speeds of six to seven knots. My Paradis is equipped with CMC Marine electrical fin stabilisers.
