Italian shipyard AB Yachts has announced the launch of another hull from its 30 metre AB100 series. It is the third yacht to be launched since the series was redesigned in 2021, following sisterships Yunga and El Mirlo.
The previous design of the series is represented by Spectre and Lea III, launched in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
Designed fully in-house, the AB100 is one of the fastest yachts currently on the market with a blistering top speed of 50 knots. It is powered by twin MTU diesel engines and has a cruising range of 550 nautical miles. A matte, charcoal-coloured hull gives this unit a particularly striking exterior profile.
Up to 10 guests can be accommodated on board, alongside four members of crew. Interior spaces flow seamlessly thanks to a concealed sliding door which connects the aft cockpit and main saloon. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer 360-degree views and plenty of natural light.
An on board highlight is the beach club aft, equipped with an innovative launching system for toys and tenders.
This AB100 unit is one of five AB Yachts units measuring between 24 and 36 metres set to splash this year. According to the shipyard, it will spend its first season on the water cruising around the Mediterranean Sea.
