Damen Yachting has kicked off the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show by confirming the sale of the third Amels 60 superyacht.

Scheduled for delivery in 2023, the sale of the third superyacht in the 60 metre series comes after Damen Yachting announced the second hull Project Witchcraft had begun outfitting. The sale of the fourth hull was announced in July 2021.

The yacht is scheduled for delivery in 2023

The third hull marks Damen Yachting’s 12th project to be built in collaboration with Imperial, which represented the owner in the sale.

Speaking about the project, Imperial director Julia Stewart said: “We very much look forward to commencing construction, during which Imperial will act as the construction supervisor and owner’s representative.”

Designed by Espen Øino, the Amels 60 features a hybrid propulsion package and is designed around user experience, resulting in a large sun deck, swim platform and folding owner’s suite balcony. Elsewhere, a nine-metre tender can be stored on the foredeck. The 830GT interior meanwhile will be designed by Winch Design, which was handpicked by the owner. Winch previously revealed two ultra-sustainable interior concepts for the Amels 60

Damen Yachting’s sales director Rob Luijendijk added: “We are delighted to be once again working with the team at Imperial on another new build and are very much looking forward to seeing the build come together and delivering her to her owner in 2023.”
