165 Viatorem Explorer Concept Revealed
by Miranda Blazeby
Superyacht designer Max Zhivov has revealed the flagship concept of his Viatorem series; the 165 Viatorem explorer.
The 50-metre explorer is a collaboration project between Zhivov, who created the exterior design with Otobot, which also penned the naval architecture. Turkish shipyard U4 meanwhile would build the yacht if the project went ahead.
Key features of the design include a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, however the yacht can be constructed from a sandwich composite material on request.
Elsewhere, the yacht features plentiful relaxation and entertainment areas. These include an enormous aft party area with a pool, numerous saloons and a large entertainment venue on the sundeck with a bar area, which is surrounded by wide sunbeds.
Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests in a luxury owner’s suite, which is equipped with its own private balcony, and four guest cabins.
Described as an “unrestricted navigation explorer yacht”, the 165 Viatorem explorer will be equipped with a hybrid propulsion system and stabiliser fins.
