X-Craft 10DER superyacht tender by Van Geest Design

Van Geest Design of The Netherlands has developed a new superyacht tender design for X-Craft.

The Dutch builder X-Craft gave Van Geest a brief to create a fast, multi-purpose tender that would stand apart from its current range of fast tenders. Van Geest has designed the cleverly named 10-metre LOA X-Craft 10DER – a play on the word 'tender' – with a deep-V hull and modern, sleek exterior styling, matched with an up-to-date layout with plenty of seating. The X-Craft 10DER will accommodate 12 guests and two crew members. The cockpit can be enjoyed open to the elements or covered with a folding canopy top.

Hull and naval architecture design come from Adam Younger. Constructed in composite, she will have a maximum weight of 4,000 kilograms. The new superyacht tender can be powered by twin sterndrive diesel engines or waterjet propulsion and will have fuel capacity of up to 1,000 litres. X-Craft is aiming for a top speed of 55 knots.
