Young Designer of the Year 2022 nominee Rahmet Diko Edfi has revealed a superyacht concept named Amadeus X, inspired by composer Mozart’s musical compositions.
Stretching over five decks, the 65 metre concept’s stand out design feature is the spacious sundeck which hosts ample seating and panoramic views out over the ocean.
Speaking about the design, Indonesian designer Diko Edfi said: “In harmony with the characteristics of Mozart's musical compositions, this yacht is designed with an emphasis on elegance and balance.”
Elsewhere, Amadeus X is kitted out with several areas for entertaining, including a billiard room, a gaming room and a pool area on the main deck which can “be used for private parties” according to Diko Edfi. Aft is a main saloon and dining area, with a gym located forward. The upper deck hosts the owner's suite, with crew accommodation found on the lower deck.
Thoroughly in tune with the zeitgeist, the eco-focused project features an array of solar panels on each of its open deck roofs.
“[With Amadeus X], I hope to provide inspired emotions and a sense of comfort to the owner so that they can generate brilliant new business ideas in the future,” said Diko Edfi.
In partnership with Oceanco, the Young Designer of the Year Award, celebrates the original concepts of student and trainee designers from around the globe.
