Southern Wind 123, a 37.46 m Sail Yacht currently being built in South Africa and to be delivered in 2027, is going to be the flagship of Southern Wind Shipyard. She is the only SW123 model.
She has a 8.18 m beam and she is built with a Teak deck, a Carbon Fibre and Kevlar hull, and Carbon Fibre and Kevlar superstructure.
She was designed by Nauta Design, who also designed the interior. Nauta Design has designed 52 yachts and designed the interior of 68 yachts for yachts above 24 metres.
The naval architecture was developed by Farr Yacht Design, who has developed 78 other superyachts in the BOATPro database.
When delivered, Southern Wind 123 will join a fleet of 219 sailing yachts in the 35-40m size range.
