Southern Wind 123, a 37.46 m Sail Yacht currently being built in South Africa and to be delivered in 2027, is going to be the flagship of Southern Wind Shipyard. She is the only SW123 model.
She has a 8.18 m beam and she is built with a Teak deck, a Carbon Fibre and Kevlar hull, and Carbon Fibre and Kevlar superstructure.
She was designed by Nauta Design, who also designed the interior. Nauta Design has designed 49 yachts and designed the interior of 66 yachts for yachts above 24 metres.
The naval architecture was developed by Farr Yacht Design, who has developed 77 other superyachts in the BOATPro database.
When delivered, Southern Wind 123 will join a fleet of 217 sailing yachts in the 35-40m size range.
