Even mired in uncertainty due to the ongoing conflict with Iran, the brokerage yacht market is continuing to perform well, according to exclusive BOATPro data.
This past month, there were 41 yachts sold (24 metres and above), amounting to a collective €381 million. This was up 133.7 per cent from the previous year period (April 2025), which saw combined sales of €163 million.
The most expensive item purchased was Sanlorenzo's 56.5-metre motor yacht Virtuosity, which was sold in-house at Edmiston with Will Bagshaw representing the seller and Andrew Bond representing the buyer. The second of the Italian yard's 57Steel series, Virtuosity had been asking €49.5 million and was described by her broker as a "near-new pedigree yacht" in "turnkey condition".

For the first time this year, the number of new listings began to slow in April, with only 32 new yachts joining the brokerage market (compared with 64 in March). Typically, this points to a number of off-market deals, or owners who wish to delay selling their yacht until after peak usage season. However, this year might also be suffering the effects of uncertainty, with owners opting to wait until market conditions improve.
Still, BOATPro recorded €290.7 million worth of new inventory joining the brokerage market this past month, led by Abeking & Rasmussen's multi-award-winning motor yacht Nurja. Delivered in 2008, the 40.5-metre vessel is one of the few superyachts built on a SWATH (Small-Waterplane-Area Twin Hull) platform, and is currently asking €38 million with Peter Hürzeler and Adrian Soos of Ocean Independence.
This past month also saw a change in CA for Lürssen's 114.5-metre superyacht Pelorus, now asking €160 million with Nathan Farrelly and Hans van Doornmalen of Edmiston.
Finally, BOATPro indicated a total of 68 price adjustments during April, removing €62.5 million from the brokerage market. The largest individual price drop was for Lürssen's 60-metre yacht Caipirinha, which received a €10.9 million reduction and is now asking €39.9 million with SuperYachtsMonaco and Edmiston.
