How Italian shipyards plan to build on the superyacht boom

Italy has long been known as the home of superyacht construction, with the country responsible for 36.6% of the global fleet of yachts over 24 metres - but the current demand for Italian-built boats is unparalleled. Builders including Azimut | Benetti, The Italian Sea Group and Ferretti Group have all announced remarkably healthy figures from the first half of 2022, and the Global Order Book indicates that over half of yachts on order -  51.07% - are made in Italy.
