Why charter Regina d'Italia?

Built on the yard’s proven 65-metre platform but extensively reworked, Stefano Gabbana’s 65-metre Codecasa Regina d’Italia is a yacht that sits deliberately at the intersection of couture, authorship and Italian craftsmanship. The yacht for charter was conceived as a highly personal project, developed in close collaboration between Gabbana and Milan-based studio M2 Atelier. The yacht is being offere revealed publicly for the first time after years of private use.

Her living spaces are expectedly chic, featuring ornate, sea-themed wall panels and plush purple furniture. Other highlights include a cinema-cum-skylounge, a fully equipped gym and a 110-square-metre owner's cabin. According to her broker, Regina d'Italia has been meticulously maintained by a single owner since her construction. She is new to the charter circuit, too.

For charter clients looking for something different, this is the one to go for. Having only ever been used privately before, Regina d'Italia's arrival on the charter market presents an exciting opportunity to step inside the world of Dolce & Gabbana.

Interior mood

If there was a way to get inside the mind of D&G, Regina d'Italia is it. The yacht for charter is filled with gold accents and striking marine motifs. There are sculptural bronze fittings (some referencing Italian hand gestures) throughout and custom furniture integrated with storage.

Regina d'Italia has a palette of blues, dark woods, Brazilian marble, and mirrored surfaces. The layout follows a progressive gradient in tone, beginning with lighter blues and descending into deeper hues as you move up through the decks. It stands out on the charter market as she was designed strictly for personal use. It's personal taste that reflects one of the world's most influential and prominent design houses. This is like stepping into Gabbana's mind for a few days.

Accommodation on board is for 11 guests across six individually designed cabins.  of the cabins tells a different story, including the sculptural hand gestures. The design team were so inspired by this element that they created an entire book of iconic Italian hand gestures. The owner’s cabin is a 110-square-metre suite that expands into a panoramic, full-beam sanctuary.

Out on deck

Outside, there is a formal al fresco dining setting on the upper deck aft, sheltered by the mirrored sundeck overhang, while the sundeck itself is home to an elongated forward-facing pool surrounded by sun loungers and a fully equipped sit-up interior bar. There are spacious outdoor lounges across her decks and plenty of space to soak up the sun while on charter.

A seven-metre infinity pool makes up the forward half of the sundeck, while an additional lounch area can be found aft. The min dining area is on the main deck aft, centred around a large oval table carved from a single block of marble.

Toys and wellness

The state-of-the-art gym is primed to keep guests on top of their regimen. But there is more to the space than machines and free weights. There is a domed ceiling in the gym specifically designed so guests can use a trampoline on board.
