With a length 90.10 metres, a 28-strong crew and pedigree design by the Winch studio, her high-price charter rate is hardly surprising considering the wealth of on board amenities.
Even from afar, the distinctive design of Phoenix 2 is immediately evident with her dark hull, sharp lines and phoenix-shaped bowsprit that set her aside from the crowd. Once guests step on board, however, the interior styling is even more attention-grabbing. Refitted in 2019, her opulent interiors are heavily inspired by 1930s New York-style art-deco design.
The main deck décor shows little restraint, with gold finishes and red furnishings adding a glamorous ambience, offset by geometric stairwells, glistening chandeliers and sleek black lacquered joinery and furnishings. A Steinway grand piano completes the classic feel on board, situated close to the formal dining room to help create the perfect ambience during entertaining.
References to 1930s New York continue in the plush cinema room (there’s also an outdoor cinema on the top deck) and by the skylounge cocktail bar.
Accommodations for 12 guests across seven cabins are equally lavish, with the highlight being the split-level master suite apartment complete with a private access staircase and an isolated terrace with a private pool for enjoying the views.
