Described by interior design house Raymond Langton as "Louis XIV meets Interstellar," Lürssen's  122-metre Kismet made her striking debut at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show and was crowned Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards. Among her award-winning lifestyle features is the winter garden, a climate-controlled upper-deck sanctuary that blends indoor and outdoor living. Glass panels slide into the structure, allowing the space to be fully open to the elements or enclosed and air-conditioned. Designed as a fully versatile area for dining and relaxation, Kismet's winter garden is a social hub that fully reflects the yacht's luxurious yet contemporary appeal with bespoke furnishings and custom chandeliers.

Lady Lara

Delivered in 2015, Project Orchid, now Lady Lara, is hailed as a “very feminine yacht,” according to its interior design team from Reymond Langton Design. The 91-metre Lürssen yacht features an owner’s deck complete with a dedicated winter garden, positioned between the main and bridge decks. This unique space, which can be fully or partially opened and closed, can accommodate up to 24 guests for dining. Fendi chandeliers complement the glamorous white-ivory palette, creating an elegant, multi-use space for both intimate moments and large-scale entertaining. Full of impressive onboard amenities, such as a pair of swimming pools (one of which can be transformed into a dance floor), a spa and gym area, and also peppered with Damien Hirst artwork, Lady Lara entered the brokerage market in 2023 for charter guests to enjoy.

Bold

The 85-metre Bold was Espen Oino’s 50th design, and, teaming up with SilverYachts, she was conceived as a “sports activity vessel” drawing inspiration from a shadow yacht. Built in aluminium for efficiency, her easily driven hull allows economical cruising without sacrificing comfort - akin to a Range Rover at sea. Alongside the plenty of space for toys and transformable party spaces, the winter garden is a highlight. Aft of the owner’s deck, floor-to-ceiling tinted windows can be fully opened by hand, stacking neatly into concealed storage behind bulkheads on either side of the superstructure. When open, the space transforms into a generous terrace, open to the breeze and overlooking the certified helideck. Even on overcast or rainy days, the closed windows flood the area with natural light, preserving a strong connection to the surrounding environment.

JeMaSa

Originally an Australian naval vessel and the former Plan B, the 52-metre JeMaSa was recently transformed following a 15-month refit at The Boat Works in 2024. The main deck was redesigned to allow for full walkaround access for guests, while the upper deck now centres around a winter garden that serves as the yacht’s primary dining area. Nicknamed the “Glass House,” this inside-outside area also functions as an informal family hub before and after meals. Sliding glass doors and fully closable windows make the space adaptable to any climate - whether exploring cooler high latitudes or seeking shade and air conditioning in the tropics. Flexible and welcoming, JeMaSa’s reinvention resulted in a modern-day explorer designed for all-season enjoyment.

Serenissima

Penned inside and out by Nuvolari Lenard, the 47.5-metre Serenissima is full of unexpected spaces shaped around her sport-loving owner - from a full-size boxing ring on the foredeck to the classic Riva tender displayed on the main deck. Design touches include a layout that balances private areas with openness and flow, with strong connections between interior and exterior living spaces. This comes to life on the upper aft deck in the winter garden, where movable glass walls allow for an enclosed or open space. Elsewhere, in place of a typical forward owner's cabin is a gentleman's club-style saloon entered through a walk-in wine cellar.

Stella Maris

Launched in 2014, the 72-metre Stella Maris was built by VSY with a clear intention: a yacht designed for all seasons. Courtesy of Espen Oino, her exterior lines frame vast glass-walled living spaces, including two aft saloons on the main and upper decks. At the heart is the yacht’s winter garden. Hidden glass panels can slide into place to transform the aft seating area - complete with a two-storey vertical garden - into a climate-controlled space connected to the open aft deck. Forward of this, a dining area sits in a sheltered pocket and can be entirely open or enclosed by glass to create a protected environment. She remains one of the most thoughtful early examples of year-round indoor-outdoor living.

H3

After a transformative rebirth, the Indian Empress, built in 2000, was treated by Oceanco as a new build following an ambitious three-year rebuild, during which she became H3. With a redesigned superstructure, fully overhauled engineering to meet IMO Tier III, and a 10-metre extension aft, the yacht now accommodates an infinity pool and a host of other lifestyle features. Reymond Langton oversaw both exterior and interior design, including the winter garden, found on the owner’s deck. The space links directly to the lounge, which houses a cinema, casual seating, and dining for 14. The retractable glass walls open H3's winter garden at the touch of a button, and the extendable table seats up to 32 guests. When opened, the glass doors also reveal an outdoor cinema screen for an indoor-outdoor entertainment flow.

Phoenix 2

Inspired by the glamour of New York's skyline, the 90-metre Lürssen Phoenix 2 is a celebration of art deco design and entertaining. Winch Design captured the city's iconic spirit inside and out, and particularly within the owners' lounge, from skyscraper motifs on the barstools to a central skylight that floods the space with natural light. This lounging area can be closed off or connected to the winter garden, and is claimed to be a favourite spot on board. The hybrid indoor-outdoor lounge serves as either a party area for up to 120 guests or a more intimate dining venue. Another standout entertainment feature is her piano lounge, which, according to Winch Design, has hosted some world-class musicians over the years.

Amadea

The 106-metre Lürssen Amadea, when in build, had the brief to make her one of the “most detailed vessels.” Such details are evident throughout, thanks to Espen Oino and Zuretti, including the winter garden, which takes the form of an orangerie-style glasshouse on the sundeck. Labelled the winter patio, guests can dine in an area designed to connect with nature, amid ferns and painted lianas. The space accommodates up to 24 diners and offers an interactive dining experience, complemented by a show kitchen with a grill and a lobster tank. Inside, further features are on hand for guests to enjoy the yacht, whatever the weather, such as the cosy main saloon with its marble fireplace.

Irisha

The owners who commissioned the 51-metre Heesen Irisha had a personal yet straightforward brief: a yacht where dining and socialising take centre stage. Passionate food and wine lovers, they wanted a setting that was adaptable, intimate yet open and inviting, where the yacht’s signature winter garden now comes into its own. Occupying the aft main deck, the space is protected by sliding glass panels that can be sealed to regulate the climate. Inside the main dining room and the saloon, the colour palette and furnishings follow the same palette as the winter garden, so the areas flow seamlessly into one another. When needed, the dining table can extend to seat up to 22 guests in an all-weather environment.
