Each week, we place a spotlight on one of the world’s finest yachts for charter. This week, BOAT takes a closer look at a 57.4-metre Feadship with a striking exterior profile. Delivered in 2015, Halo had an extensive refit in 2021 and currently stands in immaculate condition, ready for the winter season.
Why charter Halo?
Defined by two silver arcs that crown her distinctive silhouette, Halo is a design feat with a well-balanced, futuristic profile. She was commissioned by an owner who fell in love with a fellow Feadship (44.6-metre Megan, ex Helix) during a charter and wanted to build their own Feadship that was heavily inspired by the yacht.
This is evident in several design cues, such as Halo’s 11 rectangular windows on each side of the hull. But while the owner was inspired by Megan, they chose a different design route for Halo with a new design team (Harrison Eidsgaard for the exterior and Bernardi Peschard for the interiors), who could take a more radical approach. This was also Bernardi Peschard Interiors' first superyacht project, a studio based in Mexico City.

Feadship delivered Halo in 2015, and her distinctive arches set her apart from anything else we’ve seen available for charter since. The yacht for charter has huge exterior spaces, elegant interiors, and a long list of toys, so she still thrives in the charter market thanks to a host of cool features.
Since 2015, Halo has changed hands once in 2021, which triggered a multi-million euro refit, restoring her to her full charter potential. This season, she will be returning to the Caribbean and the Bahamas for the winter season, where the yacht has availability.
Interior mood
Inside, the main saloon unfolds in a careful mix of coffee and cream, creating a neutral yet elegant space. The outside world pops against the black lacquered windows as light streams into the main saloon. Intrinsically welcoming, the interior spaces have been arranged to accommodate plenty of room for lounging around, including two large sofas on each side and white armchairs placed before the main interior dining table
The same can be said for Halo’s upper deck lounge, which doubles as a cinema for cosy nights tucked up after dinner, which is typically served out on the upper deck aft. The colour scheme matches the same elegant style, while pops of nautical blue in the soft furnishings break up the neutral tones. You can have cocktails here (or anywhere) for cosy movie nights or out on deck under the stars.
Accommodation on board is for 12 guests across six large cabins, each with the same colour scheme. On the main deck, four convertible cabins and a large master suite offer views through large rectangular windows. The VIP suite sits on the bridge deck and offers spectacular elevated views. Ultimately, the cabins are flexible, catering to large families, friends, or groups with staff.
Out on deck
As guests step on board and head up to the aft deck, they will be greeted with a cooling, scented towel and a glass of champagne as they peer through the open main saloon doors. Halo’s plentiful outdoor living spaces make her a brilliant yacht for charter, including an enormous sundeck that makes her charter credentials even more impressive.
Halo extends five metres further forward than comparable-sized superyachts, creating a huge area for outdoor activities. If a yoga lesson is on your list, sessions can take place on the main deck at the bow at sunrise.
The yacht for charter is perfect for those who want to spend time outdoors and bask in the summer sun. The sundeck offers 200 square metres of space, featuring a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads and a sit-up bar. All of the space can be covered with an electronically powered carbon fibre sun awning.
Toys and wellness
If wellness is an important part of the perfect superyacht charter, Halo’s top wellness credentials pack a punch, with a fully stocked gym with cardio machines and free weights, a swimming pool and a personal trainer among the 14-strong crew. The chef can also whip up vitamin-dense green smoothies or protein-heavy meals for wellness-centric charter guests.
