The Newport Charter Show, Rhode Island, opened its doors this week to showcase some of the finest yachts available to charter in the region this summer. Over 20 yachts sailed in for the event and here we focus on three of the largest motor yachts available to charter this summer.
Charter luxury yacht Cocktails
The 48m Trinity motor yacht Cocktails arrived into the quaint Rhode Island town of Newport last Monday intent on a summer full of charters. Being the largest superyacht around she is a really pulls focus when she arrives into port.
'The weather has just picked up in Newport making it ideal for a yacht charter. We have one coming up where we will visit Nantucket it's so quaint and just beautiful up here,' gushes Second Stewardess Cierra. She has only been with Cocktails for two months but is already in love with the vessel. 'The boat underwent a full refit in 2011 and I simply love what they have done with it. The neutral colours, the huge sundeck, the layout the owner has impeccable taste and employed the finest designers to work on her.'
For a 48m yacht the first thing I notice is the volume, she is very spacious. She comfortably sleeps 12 with her five-cabin configuration. Each deck offers areas for socialising and getting away from it all. The sundeck is her big selling point her Jacuzzi and lounging area is vast, coupled with an alfresco cooking station and bar. What more could you ask for when cruising the waters of Northeast America?
Motor yacht Chevy Toy
Charter yacht Chevy Toy _is next on the list for the big yachts that are up in New England this summer. The 43.28m superyacht, previously called Espresso II_I was sold in December 2013, renamed Chevy Toy and has been hitting the charter scene ever since.
Motor yacht Chevy Toy was built by Trinity in 2004 and refitted earlier this year, she offers accommodation for 10 across five cabins. A Dee Robinson interior complete with marble and cherry wood adds to the elegant feel this yacht embodies. When asked to showcase her talents, the crew put on a splendid party complete with canapés up on her sundeck. Guests enjoyed her facilities while the sunset over Newport Harbour. The crew are impeccable here, and no task is too hard or too much.
Charter yacht Katya
The 46m superyacht Katya is a yacht that instantly makes its guests feel at home. Her plush furnishings and cozy textures are a pleasure on the eye. She was built by Delta Marine in 2009 and offers accommodation for 10 guests across five cabins.
She is usually found cruising the waters of the Bahamas and Caribbean in the winter season and then heads up to New England for the summer. Where the crew and captain can offer some expert advice on what to see and do while up here. A few recommended sites are the Mansions of Newport on Bellevue Avenue, the Cliff Walk and of a course a visit to one of the most famous yacht clubs The Newport Yacht Club. The chef onboard enjoys cooking a range of delights but here the specialty is lobster and clams so guests can expect a range of seafood delights when onboard Katya in New England.
