Looking for a cheaper option than mooring your superyacht in an expensive marina or harbour? Drop anchor in one of the best natural yacht anchorages in these Caribbean bays instead, advises Rachael Steele.
1. Soufrière Bay (Pitons), St. Lucia
The Pitons of St. Lucia are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the town of Soufrière is the closest settlement for guests looking to hike along their hot springs-spotted paths. Rare flora and fauna can be found on the peaks and under the water. Sixty per cent of the marine area is covered in coral so divers and snorkelers will be just as richly rewarded by one of the best dive sites in the Caribbean as those who would rather stay on land.
