Exclusive: Maybach Ocean Club unveils 155m "members club" superyacht proposal

Splendid Sea, a company co-founded by superyacht captain Matthias Bosse and hospitality and private club entrepreneur Michael Hehn, has unveiled a new cruising concept: a 155-metre club model, based around a superyacht and her support vessel, in partnership with Mercedes-Maybach.

The vision is to create an exclusive community of 300 co-owners, each enjoying four weeks per year aboard the mothership in private suites. The inaugural vessel, Beyond Horizons, spans 155 metres and exceeds 15,000GT, supported by a crew of 80 to 85.

Baglietto announces sale of new 48m full custom yacht 

Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced the sale of a brand new 48-metre full custom superyacht. Currently known as hull number 10277, the yacht has been commissioned by an owner seeking a comfortable and seaworthy vessel capable of long-range, worldwide cruising. 

The project has been developed in collaboration with brokerage firm Floating Life, which will not only be representing the owner during construction but also act as a technical advisor, and Volvo Penta, which has been entrusted with the yacht's "cutting-edge propulsion system".

Italian designers SaturaStudio is responsible for the new build's exterior and interior design, which has been curated in close collaboration with Floating Life.
