BOAT International and Belmond announce Between the Bays superyacht event

BOAT International is delighted to announce that it has joined forces with Belmond to launch a new highlight for the Caribbean season in 2023 – The Between the Bays superyacht event (March 9-12).

Taking place in the Caribbean’s Leeward Islands, Between the Bays will invite motor and sailing yachts over 24 metres to come together to discover two of Belmond’s finest properties – Cap Juluca in Anguilla and La Samanna in Saint Martin. Attendees will be treated to a first-class programme of events, both on and off the water.

Belmond was founded in 1976 with the acquisition of Hotel Cipriani in Venice. Now a globally recognised pioneer in hospitality, the group has a diverse global portfolio of travel experiences spanning land and water. The Between the Bays superyacht event will showcase a duo of its Caribbean resorts that both have a distinctly different offering.

Between the Bays will get underway at Cap Juluca. The property sits on Anguilla’s Maundays Bay, which is one of the world's best beaches. Spawling across more than 70 hectares, the gourmet experience is a key part of the resort’s ethos with four restaurants ­­– including Cip’s by Cipriani. A welcome dinner at the resort will be followed by an adventure day taking in the best of Anguilla.

The following day a cruise in company will end at Saint Martin’s La Samanna. Sitting less than 10 nautical miles away from Anguilla the resort offers a touch of the French Riviera in one of the Caribbean’s best known yachting hotspots. The event will conclude with a party on its famous private beach, which has enticed celebrities ranging from the Kennedys to Diana Ross over the past half a century.
