The Superyacht Rendezvous is heading for the superyacht hot spot of Porto Montenegro this July. With both sailing and motor superyachts from 30m upwards it promises to be a spectacular event in the Boat International event calendar. Registration to join us for this exciting new event is still open and more information can be found on the Superyacht Rendezvous website.
We are delighted to announce a strong fleet of superyachts joining us so far in Porto Montenegro, including: Exuma (Phillippe Briand, 50m), Alyssa (Tansu 38.7m), C-Side (Feadship, 34.4m), Galactica (Heesen, 50m) Elena (Heesen, 47m), Blue Ice (Palmer Johnson, 45.7m), Artemy (Azimut, 35.4m), Seven Seconds (DL Tachts Dreamline,26m) Komokwa (Horizon, 41m) and the recently returned from our Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht regatta, Ingot (Burger Boat Company, 46.6m).
The Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro is also punctuated by a dazzling social programme that starts with an owners' lunch at a beautiful venue to savour local seafood delicacies and a Welcome Cocktail and Yacht Hop to give all attendees a chance to display their yachts in the über glamorous surroundings. The next day brings a cruise in company around the Bay of Kotor; an opportunity to see the stunning landscapes that Montenegro provides. The following day presents a chance to sample some of the cultural activities on offer such as an adrenaline junky’s dream canyoning or perhaps a delicious gastronomical experience . The final evening of The Rendezvous will prove unforgettable with a glamorous party at the ultra-chic Lido Mar Beach Club.
“Long overshadowed by Croatia, its captivating neighbour to the west, Montenegro is poised to become a world-class luxury travel destination thanks to its idyllic, 180-mile-plus coastline and rugged interior dotted with river canyons, glacial lakes and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
"On the UNESCO-protected Bay of Kotor, Porto Montenegro, whose chief investor is Barrick Gold founder Peter Munk, is vying for the title of Europe’s leading marina, with berths up to 180 meters to accommodate superyachts; tax and duty-free fuel at a 45% discount versus countries within the EU is another incentive sure to lure uber-wealthy mariners.” Credit: Forbes.com
The Superyacht Rendezvous’s relocation from Monaco promises to be a fresh take on an old classic. We look forward to welcoming the world’s most impressive luxury yachts to start the season in style at what is set to be an event to remember.
