World Superyacht Awards finalists: part 10

Perhaps one of the most important of the World Superyachts Awards, the Voyager’s Award recognises the owner who has completed the most inspirational cruise of the year.

These are the three contenders for the Voyager’s Award:

Akula

59 metre explorer yacht Akula'‘s cruise was a 200nm figure of eight path in Disko Bay, just inside the Arctic Circle on the west coast of Greenland. She was built by Amels and is currently listed for sale with Edminston asking €9,775,040.

Arcadia

56 metre gentleman'’s motor yacht Arcadia transitted the Northwest Passage from Christianshab on the west coast of Greenland, passing north of Baffin Island and through the Bellot and Franklin Straights, south of Victoria Island and onwards to Nome, Alaska.

Golden Compass

Starting in the USA, Golden Compass embarked upon a 30,000 nautical mile ‘world tour’ through the Caribbean, South America, and the Mediterranean, through the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, cruising the Indian coast to Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, the Malacca Straits and on through Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.
