Leather furniture expert Poltrona Frau is launching a limited edition range of Vanity Fair armchairs created with input from art-focused charity Farm Cultural Park. The Standard size is available as a limited edition of 75 while the Baby (50 pieces) and Mini (100 pieces) will be upholstered in fabric designed using artwork created by the children of Savara, a semi-abandoned village in Sicily.
British-based designer Lee Broom has given his signature modern spin to a collection of classic Wedgwood vases inspired by historic pieces from the brand's archive. Featuring a bold monochrome pattern, the collection honours British craftsmanship through the use of Jasperware updated with strong, sharp silhouettes.
Parisian tableware specialist Puiforcat has joined forces with architect Joseph Dirand to smarten up your on board office with a series of gold- and silver-plated desk objects named Bureau d'Architect. With prices starting around £450, the collection includes a letter opener, desk tidy, tape dispenser, box, pencil holder and book ends.
Since their presentation at Salone del Mobile 2016 Dolce & Gabbana's collaboration with Smeg has become something of an icon in the luxury interiors world and the range has recently expanded to include pasta machines and food processors. Innovative Italian interiors firm Visionnaire has enlisted the artistic talents of Alessandro La Spada to create a hybrid furniture and fine art collection labelled Sandrino Butcher. These sculptural pieces are characterised by tones of bold red and gold and feature surrealist elements such as knives for stool legs, shelves hung with butcher's hooks and light fittings with lamps sliced in half.
