At this year's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Aston Martin Fort Lauderdale has revealed a new two-car collection in collaboration with Denison Yachting, British studio Bannenberg & Rowell and Holman Motorcars. The bespoke series, titled Above & Beyond, is said to "capture the spirit of the ocean" with a new Vanquish Coupe model named Above and a Vanquish Volante named Beyond.
Above & Beyond draws direct inspiration from Bannenberg & Rowell’s two forthcoming Turquoise yachts of the same names. Both exteriors are finished in Lightning Silver, a colour chosen for "its subtle blue reflection in direct sunlight". The lower body is defined by gloss blue-tinted carbon fibre, split by a Lightning Silver pinstripe that emulates the bootstripe on a yacht’s hull.
When it comes to the difference to designing cars versus yachts, Dickie Bannenberg acknowledges: "You're working with tighter parameters but the same things apply, with quality of materials, deciding on the gloss levels – there’s definitely some commonality there [and] working with such a famous brand, it’s really something else. We loved it."

Chrome side strakes with gloss black V12 badging, Scintilla Silver thermos louvres and integrated fender infills "amplify the vehicles’ presence in the same way that polished deck hardware enhances the profile of a yacht".
Inside, Glacier White leather is paired with V-shaped quilting, which extends across the doors and centre armrest, while pattern stitching, inspired by the bow waves formed at speed, can be found across the seating. The exterior is also represented, too, with satin and gloss blue-tinted carbon fibre trim.
"At Holman Motorcars, we take great pride in delivering an exceptional experience and offering our customers world-class automobiles that truly embody the iconic lifestyle of the region," said Peter Brandt, general manager at Holman Motorcars. "What better place to unveil these remarkable vehicles than in Fort Lauderdale, the yachting capital of the world, during the renowned International Boat Show."
"This collaboration is the result of a shared passion for craftsmanship, innovation and lifestyle," added Jennifer Welker Peacock, head of global partnerships for Denison Yachting. "Bringing together Q by Aston Martin, Aston Martin Fort Lauderdale and Bannenberg & Rowell under one vision reflects Denison Yachting's ongoing efforts to push boundaries and create meaningful collaborations within the luxury space. Above & Beyond is truly a celebration of our world, on land and on sea."
Each Vanquish in the Above & Beyond collection is a one-of-one commission through the brand’s bespoke service Q by Aston Martin, ensuring instant collectability. The Above & Beyond collection cars at Aston Martin Fort Lauderdale are available for immediate delivery.
