Held during the Superyacht Design Symposium, the 2018 Boat International Design and Innovation Awards (previously the ShowBoats Design Awards) honour the creative talents behind the most exciting, elegant and inspiring new yacht designs from the boards of the world’s leading yacht design studios. With 13 categories up for grabs – plus the prestigious Young Designer of the Year Award – the only way to know who wins a Neptune is to be at the ceremony on Sunday 28 January.

The Superyacht Design Symposium 2018 is the only place you’ll be able to network with the most prestigious superyacht designers alongside leaders of the finest luxury brands in the world. With three social events over the course of the Superyacht Design Symposium and allocated networking time each day, you will be impressed with who you swap cards with at the event.

The varied topics at the Superyacht Design Symposium offer an unrivalled opportunity to hear from the finest minds in the world of design. And the technical workshops, with speakers who have hands-on experience of each subject, along with the new Pecha Kucha presentations and breakout sessions, give attendees the chance to discuss matters in detail with their peers.

The Mountain Lodge Party is one of the few parties where the great and good of the yachting industry really let their hair down. For 2018, the event will be held at the popular Restaurant Hochkitzbühel in association with Dynamiq with support from Decca Luxe. You can expect as much fun, entertainment and craziness as last year.

The Ski Cup is just as competitive as the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards. Set to be held on the world-renowned Hahnenkamm slope, a professional skier will set the time for delegates to beat and the winners will receive a trophy at the end. For spectators, there will be warm drinks at the bottom of the slopes and the usual aprés-ski party will kick off once the winners have been announced.
