German watch manufacturer Glashütte has unveiled the new Senator Cosmopolite. This latest addition to its Senator range is dedicated to the needs of the modern traveller and ideal for the jet-set superyacht owner.

Unlike other world timers, which display times in international cities via complicated and crowded dials, the Senator Cosmopolite retains a clean and classic black tie watch look thanks to its innovative time zone mechanism.

This mechanism allows the wearer to display two time zones at once, choosing from any of the 37 time zones currently in use, and even has the ability to create and eliminate time zones in response to their creation and elimination in real life. In this way, it is possible for up to 96 different times to be set using the watch’s simple and intuitive handling system.

Available with a red or white gold case and black or blue alligator leather strap, the watch features a home time dial at 12 o’clock, local time hour and minute hands at the centre and a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock. There is also a day/night dial at 9 o’clock, a date window and two smaller windows displaying the home and local time zones the watch is currently set to.

The watch is powered by a Calibre 89-02 automatic movement and boasts a 72-hour power reserve with indicator located in the home time dial.

The Glashütte Senator Cosmopolite is available now from €38,400, visit glashuette-original.com
