The 2023 Owners' Club Palm Beach Dinner returned on 25 March for its most successful instalment yet. The annual gathering welcomed more than 40 guests from BOAT International's Owners’ Club, including the owners of 19 superyachts, to the Norton Museum of Art in Palm Beach, Florida for an evening of splendid food, drinks and entertainment. The exclusive gathering was organised with support from the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA), The Macallan and the Acquera Club.
The venue
Hosted in the Sculpture Garden at the Norton Museum of Art, guests were able to explore the 3,456-square-metre sub-tropical garden with sculptures on display throughout. The collection showcased pieces by artists including Keith Haring, Antony Gormley, Jenny Holzer and others, many of which had been generously donated by Pamela and Robert B. Goergen in 2018.
The entertainment
In addition to the sculptural artwork on display, the evening was accompanied by a live string quartet to create an elegant and relaxed environment. Guests were also greeted upon arrival with the Bermuda Rum Swizzle cocktail, made up of Gosling's Black Seal Rum, Gosling's Gold Bermuda Rum and ample champagne.
The food & drink
Guests were treated to a three-course meal with a whiskey pairing accompanying each course. Event partner The Macallan brought a selection made up of its Double Cask 15-Year-Old, Sherry Oak 18-Year-Old and Rare Cask. The dinner was also served with multiple wines for guests to choose from, kindly provided by La Scolca.
The guests
The event brought together a total party of 44 and gave friends and colleagues a chance to socialise and catch up with each other away from the busy activity at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
