On September 11, Tatiana left the shores of Bosphorus and the Bilgin Yachts yard to head to Monaco for the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. It is here that the brand-new 80-metre superyacht will be debuted to the world for the first time.
Built in accordance with IMO Tier III standards, Tatiana is currently the most environmentally-friendly private yacht from Turkey. Her displacement hull form and naval architecture are created by the Antalya-based Unique Yacht Design, while the interiors have the signature of H2 Yacht Design.
H2 Yacht Design put together luxurious fabrics such as leather in the interior living areas, high-quality marble on every wet floor, woods for the coatings, teak on the exterior floor and custom-made carpets.
“Tatiana has a contemporary layout with generous living rooms as well as a huge spa and beach club in the aft which are considered highlights of her design. We tried to bring a crisp and contemporary feel by using a rich palette of colours. Also, the exterior decks have a rich warm theme that completes this design approach,” says Jonny Horsfield of H2.
Inside, the beach club is directly connected to the main living room. There is also accommodation for up to 16 guests in eight cabins including an owner’s deck with a large and private owner’s suite plus four guest cabins on the main deck and three VIP cabins on the lower deck.
Her eco-friendly status is thanks to the 1,689 GT yacht’s SCR systems, two 2,560 kW engines main engines, generators, steel-aluminium structure and dynamic hull form. The special exhaust system provides 100% clean air emissions.
After the Monaco Yacht Show, Bilgin Yachts are set to continue work on the second unit of the series, which is said to have “a different interior design in terms of the use of colours and materials” compared to Tatiana, and is due to be launched in 2022.
According to Emrecan Özgün of Bilgin, “The third unit of the series [due to be delivered in 2023] features a more optimised hull and decks, and technical improvements such as a new ventilation system and an increased generator capacity, the third unit also promises 20% larger volume both in interior and exterior areas. She will have a different layout than her predecessors. Owner deck is located above the main deck for more privacy and the wheelhouse is located on the top deck for better bridge visibility, while the staircase located in the centre of the hull is larger than the other units as well.”
