Spotlight: 60m Heesen Ceres

1 January 2021

Name: Ceres

Length: 60.4 metres

Builder: Heesen

With naval architecture penned by Van Oossanen Naval Architects and exterior design by Omega Architects, the 60.4 metre Heesen superyacht Ceres combines the yard’s sporty DNA with Steel Class functionality. Set for completion in 2023, the five-deck yacht offers owners plenty of customisation options and can be tailored accordingly, from the addition of a foredeck helipad to a bridge deck VIP suite or beach club spa.

Highlights include 149 square metres of exterior space on the sundeck and distinctive gull-wing doors along the bow that open to reveal a large tender garage, leaving space aft for a beach club and a 26 square metre fixed swimming platform.

An impressive 1,060GT of interior space can sleep up to 12 guests in six cabins with further accommodation for a crew of 15.

Power comes from two MTU Diesel 8V4000M63 engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots thanks to an efficient fast displacement hull.

Ceres is due for completion in 2023 and is currently for sale with Heesen.
