A new central agency has been announced on the 28.5-metre Van der Valk explorer yacht Blondie, now listed for sale with Splinter Fangman of Edmiston.
Launched in 2020, she is the third in the shipyard’s new generation of long-range explorers. Her design is a modern take on a trawler, which was developed in collaboration with Guido de Groot Design, Diana Yacht Design and Ginton Naval Architects.
Stepping on board, her main saloon is an open-plan area featuring white soft furnishings for lounging inside. Forward, in the same space, is a dining area that seats all 10 guests, flanked by windows to let in natural light.
The yacht has a five-cabin layout with accommodation for up to 10 guests. This includes a main deck full-beam owner’s suite. Below deck, she has two VIP doubles and two twin cabins, all equipped with en-suites. Aft crew quarters can sleep a team of four.
Her key features include a superyacht sundeck dedicated entirely to leisure. Guests can relax around a large dining table on the port side or on the compact L-shaped settee while enjoying a drink from the adjacent bar. Aft is a pool flanked by sunbeds with more deck space in front for lounging in the sun.
The beach club below offers a sanctuary for guests, with a sauna as well as a seating area next to the swim platform for easy access to the sea.
Power comes from a pair of 1,650hp MAN V12 diesel engines for a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots.
Blondie is asking $10,900,000.
