The 36.6-metre Palmer Johnson motor yacht Burn Rate has been sold and renamed Vantage, with Nicolas Guitard of Next Generation Yachting representing the buyer, and Brendan Day of Nicklaus Yachts representing the seller.

Vantage was last asking $5,560,000

Built in 2006 as part of the American shipyard's PJ 120 series, Vantage features an aluminium hull and superstructure, and slender, low-profile exterior lines by Nuvolari Lenard.

According to Guitard, a notable highlight of this model is its limited production, making it a "sought-after" vessel within her size category due to this exclusivity. With "just a handful of hulls" on the water, Vantage is hull number four.

The yacht underwent an extensive refit during 2023-2024, incorporating new equipment and multiple upgrades throughout the vessel. The renovation included new mattresses, a new wine refrigerator, new Wi-Fi systems and linens, alongside significant improvements to deck equipment and onboard systems.

Vantage offers plenty of expansive sun-drenched outdoor spaces for relaxation, as well as an open-plan layout complemented by wide teak decks.

Key deck areas include a substantial sunpad on the aft deck with cascading steps leading to the swim platform, facilitating easy water access. Additional sunbathing areas are located on the foredeck and sundeck. Al fresco dining options are available both in the cockpit and up on the sundeck.

Accommodation spans four cabins for eight guests. The master suite features a walk-around bed configuration, a walk-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom facilities. Additional guest cabins comprise two doubles and a twin.

Propulsion is provided by twin MTU 12V4000 DDEC M9 diesel engines, delivering a top speed of approximately 27-28 knots, and the yacht offers a cruising range of 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Other key specs include a 7.4-metre beam and 1.9-metre draught.

According to Guitard, Vantage will enjoy cruising in Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean under her new ownership.

The yacht was last asking $5,560,000.
