8 October 2026 • Written by Lucy Dunn

A new central agency has been announced on the 40-metre Alloy Yachts motor yacht Vesper, now listed for sale with Mark Anspach from Burgess.

Built by the New Zealand shipyard and delivered in 2009, the aluminium-built displacement yacht features exterior design by the late Ed Dubois and interiors by Donald Starkey. Constructed to Lloyd’s classification, the yacht has been maintained throughout her lifetime and is presented in turnkey condition.

Vesperis asking €10,900,000

The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the main deck and accessed via a private office. It features sofa seating to starboard, a spacious dressing room and his-and-hers en suite bathrooms linked by a central shower room. Further aft, the main saloon is arranged with a formal dining area forward and a comfortable lounge aft, with a bistro table and chairs at the entrance from the aft deck.

Accommodation for up to 12 guests is arranged across five cabins. The majority is located on the lower deck, comprising two double cabins and two twin cabins, all with additional Pullman berths and en suite bathrooms with separate shower compartments. The lower deck also houses the galley, crew mess and accommodation for seven crew.

Outdoor living is spread across several decks. The sundeck has forward-facing bench seating and direct access to the wheelhouse, while aft is a hardtop with skylights over an al fresco dining area. Further aft, a wet bar and barbecue lead to a Jacuzzi and generous sunpad area.

The main-deck aft cockpit provides another outdoor dining space beneath a retractable sun awning, with a wet bar positioned beside the entrance to the main lounge. Forward, a raised sunpad provides an additional place to relax and is accessible from the foredeck.

A side-opening tender garage accommodates a 5.1-metre Williams Dieseljet tender and dive compressor, while the foredeck has stowage for two PWCs, which can be handled by the deck crane.

Twin 1,400hp Caterpillar C32 engines give this yacht for sale a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. At an economical 10 knots, she has a range of approximately 3,200 nautical miles. Zero-speed stabilisers provide additional comfort both underway and at anchor.

Vesper is asking €10,900,000.
