The 44.81 metre Sterling Yachts motor yacht Matrix Rose, listed for sale by John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates, has been sold in an in-house deal.

Built in carbon fibre-reinforced GRP by Japanese yard Nishii-Zosen to a design by Jon Bannenberg and launched in 1986 as one of the yard’s Sterling superyachts, Matrix Rose was refitted in 2008, 2010 and 2016, receiving over 400 improvements. Accommodation is for 12 guests in five cabins consisting of a main deck master suite, VIP suite and three doubles, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 12 crew in six cabins.

Matrix Rose was asking $6,950,000

A spectacular triple-height atrium on this yacht for sale, aft on the main deck going up to the bridge deck, includes an elevator, huge bar, signature Bannenberg floor to ceiling oval windows and a lounge offering panoramic views. Aft in the main saloon to port, stairs lead to the upper dining, lounge and gym decks. Past the atrium, on the covered upper deck aft, is an al fresco seating and dining area for up to 20 guests. Her Pininfarina interior exudes luxury with her cream carpets, designer fabrics and dark wood furnishings.

During her most recent refit, in 2016, she received new engines and generators while special features include a hydraulically operated custom beach club complete with diving board and she is helicopter capable.

Twin Mitsubishi 1,309hp diesel engines give her a range of 3,750 nautical miles and she is fitted with Quantum zero speed stabilisers.

Matrix Rose was asking $6,950,000.
