The 49.9 metre motor yacht Resilience, listed for sale by Simon Goldsworthy at Edmiston & Company, has been sold in house with the buyer introduced by Charles Carveles.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Ortona Navi to a design by Studio Progetti Associati, Resilience was delivered in 2008 and most recently refitted in winter 2017/2018. She accommodates 12 guests in six cabins consisting of an impressive master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite on the bridge deck, two doubles and two twins. All cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep up to 12 staff.
Weighing in at 591GRT, Germanischer Lloyd’s classed and Malta Commercial certified, Resilience has proved to be a very successful charter proposition. The main saloon is semi open plan, with a lounge area aft and formal dining forward. Throughout the yacht, the custom furnishings are neutral, creating a sophisticated atmosphere, with a relaxing serene feel. There is an upper deck sky lounge which features further comfortable seating, ideal for socialising.
On deck, four completely different social areas are located, the highlight of which is her extremely generous 140 square metre sun deck, with luxuries including a large custom Jacuzzi spa tub, sun pads and a dining area for 12 complete with an exterior bar and gas barbecue grill for casual dining. Her top speed is 16.5 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 9 knots with power coming from two 1,575hp Caterpillar 3512-B diesel engines.
Resilience was asking €12,900,000.
