The 52.55 metre sailing yacht Dona Francisca has had a central agency change and is now listed for sale by David Johnson at Denison Yachting with a $5,000,000 price cut.

Built in carbon fibre by Uruguayan yard Buquebus to a design by Javier Soto Acebal, Dona Francisca was delivered in 2014 as one of the largest yachts ever built in Latin America. She sports a carbon-fibre/epoxy-infusion hull, classic 'pilot' appearance with a plumb bow, deep cockpit with coamings, sweeping sheer line with low-rise bulwarks, a flush deck, and distinctive pilothouse.

Her interior configuration allows for a four cabin layout comprising a full-beam master suite with his and hers bathrooms as well as a private study, two VIP suites and one guest double, all with en suite bathroom facilities.  Crew accommodation aboard this yacht for sale is for seven staff.

The remaining living space features a large deckhouse, an elegant and comfortable saloon with both lounge and dining areas, and an ample-sized galley, all panelled in mahogany with cherry and chestnut flooring.

Doña Francisca is intended for deep ocean sailing,' says her designer, Acebal. “Her generous displacement, high form stability and low centre of gravity will give a pleasant ride. Construction is in carbon/epoxy, improving the ballast/displacement ratio. The interior, simple and spacious, shows a classic style.” Her power comes from a single 876hp Caterpillar diesel engine.

Dona Francisca is asking $25,000,000.
