A new central agency has been announced on the 77.7-metre Golden Yachts motor yacht Malia, now listed for sale with Crispin Baynes and Dimitris Maroulis of Burgess.
Delivered in 2023, Malia was built in Greece and designed by Studio Vafiadis, which also completed the interiors alongside Massari Design. The yacht's naval architecture was developed by Nafpigiki Hellas. The designer, Stefano Vafiadis, noted that they "decided to do a sporty look but with displacement comfort."
The main saloon features two large sofas in a contemporary setting. The yacht’s generous beam gave Massari plenty of room to concentrate the main and dining saloon furniture in the centre of the space, anchored on a rug floating on a hardwood floor. The open-plan space has a dining table seating 14 guests, flanked by floor-to-ceiling windows to allow natural light to filter in.
Accommodation on board is for up to 17 guests across eight cabins, including a main deck master cabin which offers a lounging area and a his-and-hers en suite. Her guest accommodation comprises six doubles and a twin with an additional berth.
The cabin envelopes are soft and curvaceous due to the rooms being designed with no 90-degree corners, a design “trick” that makes spaces appear larger, notes the designer Vafiadis.
Also on the lower deck alongside the guest accommodation is a massage room and sauna, offering a sanctuary for guests.
Al fresco space can be found on the main deck aft, which offers a lounging area suitable for large parties, with soft furnishings and coffee tables available under the shading of the deck above.
The upper deck saloon provides an entertainment space with a TV and games table, complemented by soft furnishings. The room is surrounded by windows, reflecting the interior style of the main saloon, allowing for panoramic views.
The foredeck features a spa pool, paired with four large sunpads, and benefits from uninterrupted views.
Moving through the double glass doors, the upper deck aft provides al fresco dining under cover for guests at a round table. This deck also holds further seating with coffee tables for informal dining or lounging.
Up top, the sundeck has additional entertaining space with sofas, chairs and coffee tables as well as a bar and a gym with double doors leading out onto the deck to create an indoor-outdoor feel.
The sundeck aft has an expansive seating area that can be used for lounging with optional shading for all-weather use.
The beach club is fit for relaxing near the water, with an informal dining set-up and easy access to the sea. The yacht for sale also offers a watersports set-up area, including toys such as a shark submersible seabreacher.
The motor yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar engines and can reach speeds of up to 19 knots, while she can cruise at 16.5 knots.
Malia is asking €110,000,000.
