44m Alloy and Dubois sailing yacht Imagine listed for sale

22 September 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

The 44.2-metre Alloy sailing yacht Imagine has been listed for sale with Maël Fiolet of Camper & Nicholsons and will be available for viewings at anchor during the Monaco Yacht Show this week.

Delivered in 2010, Imagine was constructed in aluminium by New Zealand-based yard Alloy Yachts, built to a design and naval architecture by legendary designer Ed Dubois of Dubois Naval Architects. She was commissioned by a highly experienced owner as his second Dubois design, and, according to her broker, remains under this same original ownership, having never been chartered.

She has been and meticulously maintained since launch, and recently underwent an extensive refit and completed her 15-year Lloyds survey in 2025. All of her sails have been upgraded over the years, and her North Sails jib is brand new for 2025.

Designed to feel at home both in the sunny Mediterranean waters or the world’s most remote and challenging destinations, Imagine is fitted with several versatile spaces for both relaxing and being practical for open water crossings.

Inside, the raised main saloon is surrounded by wraparound glass for endless views and a welcoming bright living space, with a lounge area to port and a helm station to starboard, and steps leading to the lower saloon-cum-dining room.

Imagine's 242 square metres of interior space is decorated with white oak joinery, alpaca carpets, and fabrics from Loro Piana. Custom details such as recessed vase holders, magazine racks and picture frames add a personalised touch from her owner. Other custom features include an automated sliding main companionway door, opening portholes in the master suite, extra-large underfloor freezers and a safe for firearms.

Accommodation is offered for nine guests in a four-cabin layout, including a full-beam master suite with an en suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, study, vanity and custom details such as a fridge and coffee station.

The remaining guest accommodation comprises a double, a twin with a Pullman berth and a fourth cabin arranged as a single with a Pullman. If required, the sofa in the main saloon can also be converted into two bunks. There are further quarters for a crew of six.

On deck, a cockpit  forward of the twin helm stations offers relaxed al fresco dining, while sunpads aft (shaded by a boom awning and extended canopy at anchor) present additional fair-weather enjoyment. On the foredeck, the tender well can covert into a heated spa pool, while the mast crow’s nest provides extended panoramic views.

When it comes to sailing specs, the 245GT yacht for sale is equipped with a 61.9-metre mast by Southern Spars, carbon fibre rigging and a furling boom, with an 895-square-metre sail plan managed by captive winches engineered and built in-house by Alloy Yachts. Under power, one Caterpillar C18 engine gives her a 14-knot top speed and an 11-knot cruising speed. Key specs include a 9.4-metre beam and a draught of 4.3 metres.

Imagine is asking €17,800,000 with VAT paid.
