Ares Yachts' brand new flagship sailing yacht Simena will be the largest on display in Palma this year, just weeks after her departure from the Turkish yard's sheds. The ketch new build was inspired by a "gentler age of sail" and is loosely modelled after a clipper ship, with lines drawn by Taka Yacht Design. Ahead of her attendance, the shipyard unveiled her Design Unlimited interiors, showcasing a "clean, relaxed geometry" with a colour palette defined by walnut woods and a neutral scheme, aligning with a "golden era of yachting". She is currently listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson.

Year: 1990

Perini's Andromeda La Dea joined the market this year with Edmiston following a three-year “unlimited budget” rebuild. The works saw every system and major piece of equipment replaced or comprehensively overhauled, outdoor spaces refreshed and a complete interior redesign by Guillaume Rolland of Liaigre, in a new contemporary aesthetic. Though her classical exterior profile – previously described as carrying the “soul of legend" – was retained. The sailing yacht's rebuild has been nominated for a Neptune at the 2026 World Superyacht Awards, taking place this weekend.

Year: 2010

Another New Zealand build on display at Palma this week is the 44.2-metre Imagine. The sailing yacht was born from a highly experienced owner, who chose Dubois for a second time to bring his build to life, developing a yacht that feels at home both in the sunny Mediterranean waters and the world’s most remote and challenging destinations. As an example, the 242 square metres of her interiors are decorated with white oak joinery, alpaca carpets and fabrics from Loro Piana. She is currently on the market with Camper & Nicholsons, having been under the same original ownership since launch and never chartered, and underwent her most recent refit last year.

Aside from high performance, Ravenger still offers high levels of comfort, with vast social spaces and a "fun" beach deck (two steps lower than the main deck) with an adjoining large swim platform. In 2020, Canova took home "Sailing Yacht of the Year" at the 2020 World Superyacht Awards, with the judges praising her "groundbreaking" technology, sailing and navigational functions and the "calm practicality" of her interiors. The second-largest motor yacht on the line-up this year is the classic, canoe-sterned Sheergold. Although fresh from a 2025 refit, her timeless look still remains, including across her interiors, which are characterised by herringboned pear wood, brass details and Chesterfield-style leather sofas. Accommodation is for 10 guests on board in four cabins.

According to her broker, Barnes Yachting, she combines "robust construction with elegant design", outfitted with satin teak interiors and equipped with expansive yet versatile deck areas.
