The 32.5-metre sloop sailing yacht Eclipse, the first design from Dubois Naval Architects to be built by Alloy Yachts, has been listed for sale under a new joint central agency with Dennis Frederiksen of Fraser and Christopher Mosley and Tom Lilley of SuperYachtsMonaco. She has also received a €300,000 price drop.
Delivered in 1991 by the New Zealand yard, Eclipse was constructed in aluminium as a performance cruiser designed for a highly-experienced yachtsman. Her stepped carbon-fibre mast was described as "the most important advance in cruising boats in recent years" by Ed Dubois at the time of launch, being the tallest of her type when built. The sloop has been extensively refitted since her delivery, with her most recent works comprising a hull paint in 2024.
Accommodation is provided for up to seven guests in three cabins, the full-beam master boasting a king-sized bed and the VIP fitted with a queen-sized bed. The guest twin cabin has an additional Pullman berth and all of the cabins are equipped with en suite bathrooms.
Eclipse's lower saloon has a large dining table to port and L-shaped seating area to starboard. The upper saloon has excellent views of the action through the wraparound windscreen and a pair of glass sliding doors open up to the cockpit where a raised single helm station overlooks the guest seating.
Under a single 600hp MTU engine, the 144GT yacht for sale has a 4,000-nautical-mile range, a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots.
Eclipse is now asking €1,995,000. She is currently on display at the Palma International Boat Show at berth M-202.
