The 55-metre Amels superyacht Galene has received a €4,000,000 price reduction to her sales listing with Y.CO. The announcement comes less than a month after the motor yacht joined the market in October.
The latest in the popular Amels 180 Limited Edition series, Galene was designed by Tim Heywood with interiors by Laura Sessa. The steel and aluminium motor yacht was delivered by the Dutch yard in 2020. Her new listing comes five months after a previous sale was announced in May.
Accommodation on board is for an owner's party of 12 in five cabins, cared for by a crew of 13. A master suite on the main deck sports a large en suite, desk space, dressing room and a fold-out balcony, located not far from the main saloon, which also offers two balconies for guests to enjoy. A further two VIP cabins plus a pair of convertible cabins with additional Pullman berths are located on the lower deck.
The main saloon is illuminated by plenty of natural light thanks to wide picture-frame windows. A more formal lounge space lies aft, accessible through aft deck glass doors, while a formal dining area for eight lies forward against colourful shelving.
Above, the bridge deck saloon boasts a grand piano, a games table and a large TV and, with its "plush sofa", can easily convert into a cinema.
Outside, her sundeck boasts a large Jacuzzi surrounded by sunbeds and a covered bar, protected from the wind by glass doors. Al fresco dining can be enjoyed on the bridge deck, sheltered by the sundeck overhead and subtle glass panels, enclosing the space without interrupting views.
Closer to the water, a broad beach club offers a shaded retreat from the sun, in addition to being home to plenty of water toys.
Powered by twin MTU diesels, the 671GT yacht for sale has a top speed of 15.5 knots, a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. Key specs include a 9.4-metre beam and a 3.4-metre draft.
Galene is now asking €35,500,000.
