Jim Elliott, in the Newport Beach office of Ardell, sends me word of special offers on three of his central agency yachts for sale. Firstly, there’s the 32.6m Shana, now reduced from $3.25 million to $2.85 million and the seller is prepared to negotiate on the price. Built by Workboats Northwest in 1990, she accommodates six guests in three cabins and recently had a major refit. Then there’s Marlow’s 25.9m Sisu, built in 2007 and asking $3.95 million. However, the seller will “consider owner financing, cash plus real estate or cash plus a smaller boat. A composite boat with Kevlar construction, she has three cabins, numerous custom features and a 3,000 mile range. Finally, First Home is a 28m Cheoy Lee built in 1998 and asking $2.85 million by a motivated seller open to offers. With four cabins, she underwent a $3 million refit in 2006 – rather more than her current price.
