According to BOATPro, there are over 1,250 superyachts currently listed for sale, with the total value of price reductions in April reaching €64.68 million from 99 drops. BOAT takes a closer look at three of this month's biggest price drops, starting with an Admiral motor yacht complete with a Giorgio Armani interior masterpiece...
1. Silver Star I - €4,000,000 price drop
Length: 55m
Builder: Admiral
Now asking: €31,000,000
The largest price drop of the month – albeit almost €6,000,000 less than the largest price drop of March – was received by Silver Star I, who saw €4,000,000 deducted from her sales listing with Jean-Claude Carme of TWW Yachts. A more recent addition to the fleet of Admiral superyachts, the all-aluminium motor yacht first hit the water in 2023 as the second unit from the Italian yard's S-Force 55 series - the first being the popular charter yacht Geco. Features on board include a large open-air beach club, a multifunctional touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck and an "inside-outside" onyx bar on the upper deck. Her contemporary interior design was crafted by legendary Italian luxury designer Giorgio Armani, offering lavish accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins.

The French-built motor yacht Belongers received a price drop of €2,900,000 to her sales listing with Dennis Frederiksen of Fraser in mid-April, taking the second spot for the largest price drops of the month. One of two from the yard's 5000 Fly 2 series, Belongers is said to be built to "exceptionally detailed specifications", according to her broker, with her curvaceous all-white exterior host to a range of amenities and a warm monochromatic interior by Metrica. Length: 57.6m
Builder: Feadship
Now asking: €39,950,000
Listed for sale with Andrew Bond at Edmiston, the 57.6-metre W received a €2,550,000 price drop just three days before the end of the month, bringing the total sum of reductions to €10,00,000 since she entered the market in April 2024. Constructed in the Netherlands and delivered in 2013, the De Voogt-designed motor yacht underwent an extensive 10-month refit in 2020 which included a major interior redesign and the addition of a larger Jacuzzi on her sundeck. Talking of her sundeck, it stands at a staggering 21-metres long and also houses a sit-up bar, forward-facing daybeds and an al fresco dining table. Her refreshed interior - originally designed by Bannenberg & Rowell with touches from A La Mer during her refit - is for 12 guests in six cabins.
